Conceived during an artist residency in Latera (VT), this permanent sculpture draws from two elements deeply embedded in the town's everyday life. The first is the simple curtain hanging across doorways to keep insects out, a familiar feature found throughout the village. The second emerged through conversations with local residents, revealing the community's longstanding relationship with its water sources.

These references converge in a monumental sculpture that evokes the image of a waterfall: a suspended threshold that moves gently with the wind. Measuring four meters in height and one meter in width, the work is composed of 5,000 sodalite stones, a deep blue magmatic mineral chosen for its connection to the volcanic landscape on which Latera was formed.

Balancing permanence and movement, the installation reflects on transformation as a gradual process shaped by memory, place, and time. It becomes a space where everyday gestures and local histories merge, suggesting an ongoing dialogue between the landscape's geological past and its evolving present.
